About Needs Based Response Uganda

Building resilient communities through dignity, empowerment & transformation.

Our History

Needs Based Response Uganda (NBRU) was founded in 2012 as a response to the growing social, economic, and humanitarian needs of rural communities and forcibly displaced persons in Yumbe District. Built on compassion and community-driven solutions, NBRU formalized as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in 2017. Today, we stand as a pillar of hope, resilience, and transformation in the communities we serve.
